Join our Accounting team at Black Rock Oceanfront Resort!
We’re looking for a skilled and detail-focused Accounting Clerk to join our year-round team in Ucluelet, BC. You’ll work closely with our Assistant Controller to keep financial operations running smoothly, with a focus on owner distributions, receivables, and other general accounting functions.
This is a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting experience who enjoys variety in their work and can confidently take on responsibilities while learning our systems.
This is a great fit for people who:
Have a solid foundation in accounting and at least 3 years of relevant experience
Can manage tasks such as accounts receivable, reconciliations, and preparing reports with accuracy and efficiency
Are quick to adapt to new accounting systems and processes
Have excellent organizational skills and a keen eye for detail
Communicate clearly and professionally in person, by email, and over the phone
Work well in a collaborative team environment and can step in where needed to support daily operations
This posting outlines the core responsibilities of the role. Team members may occasionally be asked to step outside their primary duties to support other areas of the resort. A flexible, can-do attitude is key. Additional qualifications:
Proficiency with accounting software and MS Excel is essential. Hospitality industry accounting experience is an asset. Strong English language skills are required.
