Job Purpose & Scope As a Supervisor, Production at ROCKWOOL, you will play a key role in driving operational performance on the factory floor. You will lead your shift team to achieve excellence in safety, quality, and productivity, ensuring our customers receive world-class products while supporting continuous improvement and sustainable growth. Your future team: You will become part of the Plant Operations & Production team managing a team of 10-15 people and reporting to the Production Manager. What you will be doing: Supervise, coach, and develop Operators at all levels, fostering accountability, teamwork, and continuous improvement. Ensure all activities meet health, safety, and environmental standards while promoting a zero-incident culture. Oversee daily production schedules, ensuring products are manufactured on time, to specification, and within budget. Monitor processes, resolve issues, and implement improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and minimize downtime. Conduct shift meetings, maintain records, and provide clear updates on performance, challenges, and solutions. Partner with leadership to implement process improvements, training, and development initiatives that strengthen the team and operation. What you bring: 4 to 6 years of experience as a Production Supervisor, must have leadership experience in a unionized manufacturing environment. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering background. Strong experience working with automated systems/conveyors. Sound understanding or Lean Manufacturing principles.
