About the Role
We’re looking for an Intermediate Creative Team—an Art Director and Copywriter—to join our creative team in support of a leading banking client. This role is ideal for digitally focused creatives who are confident in creating digital-first content and are ready to take ownership of applying and evolving a brand’s creative execution across websites and apps. We’re looking for visual craft, strategic thinking, and design system skill teamed up with ownership of brand tone and comms mastery.
The successful candidates will partner closely to develop clear, engaging, and effective creative solutions tailored to banking customers’ needs. From websites and mobile apps to digital advertising, social media, and email campaigns, you’ll bring ideas to life that drive understanding, trust, and customer action.
Art Director
What You’ll Do
Collaborate with a writing partner and cross-functional teams to concept, design, and deliver digital communications that align with brand and business goals.
Develop and execute creative across websites, mobile applications, digital ads, social media content, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
Translate complex banking products and services into visually engaging and user-friendly, accessible, digital experiences.
Ensure all creative work reflects brand guidelines while pushing for fresh, innovative executions.
Present and articulate design concepts and rationales to internal stakeholders and clients.
Stay current on digital design trends, technologies, and best practices to inform and elevate creative output.
Work efficiently within timelines and budgets, balancing multiple projects simultaneously.
What You’ll Bring
3–5 years of experience in digital design, ideally in an agency or in-house environment with financial services exposure—and a BA or advertising diploma doesn’t hurt either.
Strong portfolio showcasing digital design expertise across platforms (websites, apps, digital advertising, social, email).
Solid understanding of UX/UI principles, responsive design, and accessibility standards.
Advanced skills in Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, etc), and other digital design tools.
Ability to think conceptually and strategically, with a sharp eye for detail and craft.
Excellent communication and presentation skills; comfortable discussing and defending design decisions.
Highly collaborative, with the ability to work seamlessly with writers, developers, strategists, and account teams.
Excellent time management skills—you’ll be juggling multiple projects, attending meetings, and making sure everything is on track.
Experience working within design systems or digital style guides.
Copy Writer
What You’ll Do
Write clear, concise, and engaging copy for websites, apps, and communications across the digital journey, including digital advertising, social emails, and SMS.
Help develop and apply the brand’s tone of voice, making content feel clear, human, and approachable.
Partner with UX, design, creative, and strategy teams to make sure content works seamlessly within customer experiences.
Contribute to tone of voice guidelines and help refine content frameworks.
Ensure copy is customer-first, compliant, and accessible.
Edit and proof content to maintain consistency across platforms.
You’ll be working closely with an art director partner and a collaborative dream team from creative, strategy, account, and production departments to push the boundaries of creativity.
What You’ll Bring
3-5 years of professional writing experience, with a focus on digital platforms—and a BA or advertising diploma doesn’t hurt either.
Strong portfolio showing work for websites and/or apps.
Experience creating or applying a brand tone of voice (financial services experience a plus, but not required).
Ability to simplify complex information into clear, human language.
