Who you are:
You are a CPA-designated finance professional with strong expertise in accounting and finance operations. Skilled at balancing technical precision with strategic insight, you use data and sound judgment to drive decisions and organizational performance. A proven leader, you build high-performing teams, streamline processes, and ensure compliance, bringing both financial stewardship and a continuous improvement mindset to a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
What you'll do:
Lead and Develop Teams: Oversee the accounting and procurement functions, providing guidance, mentorship, and development to ensure team members are supported in their growth and delivering at a high level.
Ensure Compliance and Accuracy: Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and financial controls to protect the integrity of the organization’s financial practices.
Enhance Processes and Collaboration: Lead and support initiatives to improve business processes, drive efficiencies, and implement best practices within Finance and in partnership with other departments.
Support Financial Planning: Contribute to the preparation and review of the annual budget, helping translate organizational goals into clear financial plans and actionable insights.
Optimize Systems and Reporting: Manage financial operations and reporting through Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central, while identifying and implementing system improvements to strengthen accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.
What you bring:
University degree in Finance, Commerce, economics or a related field.
CPA designation in good standing.
7-10 years of progressive experience in finance, including 3+ years leading and managing finance teams.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage cross-functional projects.
Proven experience leading change initiatives, particularly in ERP system implementations or transitions.
In-depth knowledge of accounting standards, internal control frameworks, and a strong understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
Self-starter with a bias toward action - able to take initiative, make sound decisions, and drive results with minimal supervision.
Strong judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to balance strategic thinking and day-to-day execution.
Proficiency with Business Central or similar ERP systems.
Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
