Reporting to the Operations and Maintenance Manager, the selected candidate will support the Maintenance Supervisor in the daily management of the industrial maintenance department, ensuring the rigorous and satisfactory completion of the following core responsibilities. Benefits: Competitive salary Annual bonus program Work schedule: Wednesday to Tuesday from 5:30 AM to 5:30 PM, followed by 7 consecutive days off Comprehensive group insurance plan (dental, medical, life, disability, etc.) Telemedicine and employee assistance program Pension plan with employer contributions Gym membership and physical activity reimbursement On-site gym Career development and advancement opportunities within the company Responsibilities: Plan and coordinate preventive and corrective maintenance tasks Supervise, coach, and motivate the team of industrial mechanics Ensure compliance with occupational health and safety standards Manage intervention priorities in collaboration with the production team Participate in troubleshooting and recommend technical solutions Monitor the quality of work performed and ensure deadlines are met Ensure availability of parts, tools, and necessary equipment Train new employees and support skills development within the team Collaborate with other departments to improve equipment reliability Prepare maintenance reports and keep maintenance records up to date Participate in developing and monitoring the maintenance budget Ensure safe and efficient work procedures are followed Requirements: Degree in mechanical, industrial engineering, or a related field Must speak french 3–5 years of experience managing an industrial maintenance department, preferably in a unionized environment (asset) Strong leadership, resourcefulness, autonomy, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, well-organized, capable of prioritizing in high-pressure situations, good communication in a team environment, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices (asset) Comfortable working in an environment with strong odors and visually challenging elements Give meaning to your career and help us make a difference: become a transformation champion!
