Strategic Leadership & Growth Partner with Board and executive team to set vision, mission, and long-term strategic goals. Drive multi-sector growth strategies, identifying new markets, partnerships, and service expansion opportunities. Ensure integration across business units (construction services, rentals, energy, security) to maximize synergies and competitiveness. Develop and implement annual operating plans, financial budgets, and performance targets aligned with corporate strategy. Operational Excellence Oversee operations across all divisions, ensuring efficiency, safety, quality, and profitability. Implement standardized operating procedures, KPIs, and performance measurement frameworks. Lead initiatives for digital transformation, process automation, and technology adoption to enhance efficiency and scalability. Monitor project delivery, ensuring on-time, on-budget execution and high client satisfaction. Drive continuous improvement in health & safety standards, environmental sustainability, and regulatory compliance. People & Culture Leadership Foster a high-performance culture built on accountability, collaboration, and innovation. Recruit, mentor, and develop executive and operational leaders across the organization. Champion succession planning, talent development, and leadership pipeline initiatives. Promote a strong culture of safety, integrity, and excellence across all business units. Financial & Risk Management Oversee financial performance and operational budgets, working closely with CFO to ensure profitability and cost efficiency. Identify and mitigate operational, contractual, and market risks across diverse sectors. Ensure compliance with corporate governance, contracts, and industry regulations. Support capital allocation decisions for equipment, facilities, and growth investments. Stakeholder Engagement Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, suppliers, regulators, and investors. Represent CapWest in the market, reinforcing its reputation as a trusted, innovative, and reliable service provider. Collaborate with CFO and leadership team to manage Board reporting, investor relations, and community engagement. What You Bring: Proven track record as a senior operations executive (COO, EVP, or divisional President/GM) in construction, contracting, industrial services, or infrastructure sectors. Minimum 15+ years progressive leadership experience, with multi-division, multi-sector oversight. Strong background in construction operations, large-scale project delivery, and contracting services. Demonstrated success in business transformation, growth initiatives, and operational scaling. Experience with equipment management, energy systems, and/or security technology is highly advantageous. Financial acumen with experience in budgeting, P&L oversight, and strategic investment decisions. Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or related field (MBA preferred).
