Our Markham office has an opportunity for a Survey Technician/Assistant within our Geospatial Group.

Your Key Responsibilities
Perform surveying tasks using GNSS survey instruments, digital levels, 3D laser scanners, and conventional survey equipment.
Assist the Survey Party Chief with tasks related to surveying and construction layout.
Assisting in the preparation of field notes/sketches and completing field data downloads and uploads.
Maintaining field equipment and vehicles.
Communicate effectively with members of the team and follow standard procedures.
Responsible for maintaining field equipment and vehicles.
Responsible for safe operation of tools and equipment, complying with OHSA and Stantec’s HSSE policies.
Performs other duties of a similar nature and level as assigned.
