Resources Analyst to join our Employee Services team on a 12 month Contract.
Reporting to the Director of Employee Services, the Human Resources Analyst
(HRA) strengthens operational excellence across all Employee Services Centres of
Excellence by ensuring data accuracy, process consistency, and workforce
reporting that supports HR decision-making.
This role supports core HR functions such as onboarding, offboarding, job
changes, leave tracking, and compliance. Key responsibilities include
coordinating compliance activities, including OMVIC dealership renewal tracking,
worker eligibility compliance, and monthly expense management.
The HRA also maintains departmental process guides, standard operating
procedures, and tracking tools, while leading HR system projects and serving as
a key contributor in the rollout of a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system.

Here’s what you’ll deliver:
- Manage OMVIC dealership renewal tracking and ensure submissions are completed
accurately and on schedule.
- Partner with ESO subject matter experts to coordinate tracking related to
Temporary Foreign Worker (TFW) program compliance and other
employment-related compliance requirements (e.g., OMVIC licensing, onboarding
documentation, audit preparation).
- Track and manage the Employee Services department’s monthly expenses,
ensuring reports and accounting submissions are submitted accurately and on
time.
- Administer and support internal audits, annual acknowledgment campaigns, and
regulatory reporting cycles.
- Support compliance related form submissions related to government
applications, processes and grants such as HR related Statistics Canada
requests.
- Conduct regular audits of HRIS data including job titles, pay, status
changes, foreign worker statuses, and deduction fields.
- Partner with Payroll and Total Rewards teams to reconcile discrepancies and
ensure data integrity.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual custom reports on key HR metrics such
as headcount, turnover, onboarding, and LOAs.
- Analyze trends and provide insight to support operational efficiency and
compliance.
- Create, update, and maintain department-wide process documentation, SOPs, and
checklists.
- Collaborate with Employee Services Managers to ensure procedures are
standardized and accessible.
- Maintain digital libraries, shared drives, and ensure accuracy of internal HR
portal content.
- Lead coordination of HR system projects, including requirement gathering,
testing, and implementation planning.
- Act as a liaison between HR, Payroll, IT, and external vendors to support HR
technology initiatives.
- Develop user training materials and support departmental readiness for system
adoption.
- Analyzes HR team processes to identify areas for enhancement and automation
to increase efficiency in the performance of functional duties.
- Adheres to all applicable federal and provincial regulations and company
policies.
- Assumes other progressively responsible human resources duties or special ad
hoc projects as directed by the Director of Employee Services and management.
What do you need to succeed?
- University Degree and postgraduate training in Human Resources.
- CHRP designation and working towards CHRL.
- 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources.
- Strong proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Slides) and
intermediate to advanced skill level in Excel.
- Excellent analytical, auditing, and documentation skills.
- Proven experience and passion for workforce reporting, analytics, metrics and
statistics.
- Positive, solution driven “can do” attitude.
- Experience supporting compliance-related HR activities and regulatory
submissions (e.g., OMVIC, TFW).
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with an ability to work
independently and cross-functionally.
- Ability to thrive in a fast paced, high pressure work environment while
effectively managing competing and changing priorities.
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills.
- Must have a valid Ontario Driver's License and good driving record.
- Ability to take initiative in the development and completion of assigned
projects and duties.
- Demonstrates utmost professionalism in the performance of duties.
- Discretion is mandatory as the role involves access to highly confidential
information.

This compensation range will be based on knowledge and experience
Job Type: Full Time - Temporary (12 month contract)
Compensation: $60,000 - $70,000 per year
