The Drake Devonshire is seeking an experienced + reliable dishwasher, who is looking to join a fast-paced kitchen team. We currently have one position available which offers the opportunity to work with a fantastic culinary team with a busy day and night time operation, including regular and special events business. Responsibilities
Washing all dishes and cooking equipment
Maintain clear and open communication with the Back of House team
Sort, stack and store all cleaned items in an organized and safe manner
Emptying garbages and recycling
Sweeping and mopping floors
Helping with small kitchen prep as required
Maintaining detergent and sanitizer levels for dishwashing machines and sinks
Restocking hand wash sinks with soaps and paper towels
Maintaining the cleanliness of all kitchen and receiving areas
Previous experience in a fast-paced environment preferred
Ability to stand for extended periods of time, work in a wet and confined area with elevated temperatures, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.
Previous experience assisting in other areas of the Back of House is an asset
