Position PART TIME OFFICE CLERK

Location Administration Office
Responsibilities
- To provide customer service to internal and external customers.
- To be dependable for all shifts and to come to work with a positive, professional approach and attitude.
- To assist, complete, and reconcile daily cash-ups as required.
- To maintain the customer and vendor master files (VMF).
- To assist Accountant and controller with audits.
- To administer end-of-day, end-of-month, and end-of-year procedures.
- To make bank deposits as required.
- To assist Accountant and Controller with the maintenance and disposal of records according to CRA record retention policies
- To operate the point-of-sale terminal as required.
- To be familiar with and adhere to Southland Co-op policies and procedures.
- To adhere to company loss prevention, security, and safety policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
Strong computer skills with proficiency in MS Office.
A pleasant and out-going personality.
A desire and ability to work with the public.
Physically able to do heavy lifting, climbing & kneeling.
Minimum two years of experience in a computerized office environment.
Office or Business Admin certificate or equivalent experience may be considered.
Valid driver’s license.
