The Role
As Platform Software Engineer, Backend, you are responsible for building web
services and APIs, working primarily with Go and MongoDB.
You work as part of a small cross-functional team to deliver features on our
roadmap, as well as continually maintain and improve a specific area of our
product.
Meet the Team
The Content Authoring and Configuration Tool Team is responsible for creating
and maintaining a centralized venue for internal and external non-technical
users to configure and manage their League implementation. We also create
frameworks and services that allow capabilities to quickly, predictably and
robustly make their capabilities configurable.
We partner with & support teams across the organization to create these
configuration tools.
Tech Stack
The following is our backend technical stack. Experience with these is
preferred, although not strictly necessary in all cases:
- Golang
- kubernetes
- GCP
- MongoDB
- FHIR, CHAPI
- OAuth
In this role, you will:
- Build, test and maintain backend services, and data storage
- Debug production issues with services and data
- Participate in technical design and planning discussions
- Uphold standards for quality by performing code reviews, fixing bugs,
creating automated tests, and monitoring performance

- Knowledge and understanding of modern web services architectures
- Experience building and maintaining automated test suites

full-time position is exclusive of bonus, equity and benefits. This range
reflects the minimum and maximum target for base salaries for the position
across all Canadian locations. The salary range is intentional to account for
the performance and career progressions a Leaguer will experience in the role
throughout their time at League. Where in the band you may land is determined by
job-related skills/experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific
salary range specific to your skills and experience during the hiring process.
Compensation range for Canada applicants only
$106,000—$130,000 CAD
