Numerous venues, charitable organizations and sporting events are catered for by Marigolds and Onions.
We are hiring Concession Staff to work in various roles within our food and beverage operation at upcoming events. These include bartenders, cashiers, and support staff. Each position is critical in ensuring smooth service and an exceptional guest experience. Applicants must be able to commit to working each day of the event, as each role is staffed by a single individual.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide outstanding customer service in a fast-paced concession setting
Assemble and fill guest orders quickly and accurately
Support setup duties such as brewing coffee, preparing condiment stations, and stocking fridges and merchandisers
Serve beverages, including opening beer, pouring wine, and retrieving items from fridges or displays
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure efficient service and support during peak times
Maintain cleanliness in the workspace throughout the shift, including wiping counters, emptying trash, and restocking
Follow all food safety, alcohol service, and event protocols
Remain on your feet for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks as needed
Assist with closing duties including cleaning, restocking, and organizing equipment
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Smart Serve Certification is required for all positions
Previous experience in concessions, customer service, bartending, or event food & beverage preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work quickly and efficiently
Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
Physically capable of standing for long periods and lifting up to 25 lbs
Ability to maintain a positive attitude under pressure and during busy service times
