The Technology Planning and Cooperation Department promotes strategic innovation
across all of Huawei Canada. Working with fellow experts, the focus is
researching new and upcoming areas of technology as well as strategic planning
to help achieve long term vision of Huawei. This department offers a unique
opportunity to leverage both technical and business skills.
About the job:

Proactively track the technological development trends of cutting edge
software and computing industry in North America, and produce insight reports
on innovation trends, propose ideas and recommendations.

Communicate and discuss with technical experts by tracking and analyzing key
achievements within top universities in North America.

Participate in academic and industrial conferences, closely track new
technology trends, and monitor early discoveries in disruptive technologies.

Monitor Wall Street and Startup technology investment areas.
About the ideal candidate:

Proficient in new technologies of cutting edge software and computing
architecture.

Familiar with software and IT related industries in North America.

Have experience in research or development, innovation incubation or
investment in ICT and other related fields (including but not limited to
computer, AI, communication, and chip fields).
