How you will make contributions that matter... Saputo Dairy Products Canada is currently looking for Plant Manager for our Orangeville facility. With a focus on continuous improvement and safety, we’re looking for someone who will work in collaboration with all Departments and suppliers to optimize safety, quality, line efficiencies and equipment reliability to effectively meet the production plan. Schedule: Monday to Friday (role requires flexibility to support a 24/7 manufacturing environment) Salary: $120,415 to 158,050. Salary offers will vary commensurate with experience, education, skills and training. Work closely with safety, environmental affairs, continuous improvement, human resources, strategic business development to ensure compliance with programs and support initiatives; Ensure key performance indicators are communicated and achieved while driving quality, efficiency and cost; Provide direction to the plant leadership team, ensuring priorities are aligned and a positive productive team environment is nurtured; Foster continuous improvement activities, reduction of equipment downtime/change overs, capacity planning, waste/scrap reduction, master cheesemaker initiatives and cost control; Ensure the Company’s quality and sanitation standards are met through close liaison with Quality Services, full participating in the HACCP and BRC programs, as well as frequent review and implementation of Company and Government Policies Provide support to maintain and improve all process/packaging technologies including capital projects and building maintenance within operating budget; Work in collaboration with the Plant Accountant to ensure all financial reports are accurately presented in a timely manner and inventory counts/cycles are performed, discrepancies investigated, and inventory systems maintained; Communicate regularly with Planning and Warehousing to optimize plant performance and resolve issues collaboratively; Assist with resolving significant maintenance problems, provide direction to Maintenance team members; progress toward eliminating maintenance and breakdown related losses.
