Centricity Research is one of the largest clinical research networks in North America. We are a fully centralized Integrated Research Organization (IRO) specializing in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials in over 35 therapeutic areas: inpatient and outpatient; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device trials.
About the Role
We’re looking for a People Operations Intern to join our team at Centricity Research. In this role, you’ll support our People Operations team by supporting recruitment activities, streamlining HR processes, and enhancing employment engagement. You’ll assist with organizing employee data, helping with projects, and contributing to programs that improve the overall employee experience.
This is an unpaid internship designed to give students hands-on exposure to People Operations and the clinical research industry. In return, you’ll gain mentorship, real-world project experience, and networking opportunities that can support your future career.
What You’ll Do
Screen incoming resumes and assist with candidate shortlisting.
Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
Help set up pre-employment activities, including drug screens and background checks.
Support onboarding by preparing materials and tracking completion of required documents.
Organize and maintain employee data in PO systems and spreadsheets.
Assist with cleaning up PO files to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Provide general support to the HR team on recruitment, onboarding, and employee engagement projects as needed.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
You’re currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, or a related field.
You enjoy working with people, organizing information, and keeping processes running smoothly.
You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office/Excel (bonus if you’ve worked with databases or CRMs).
You’re detail-oriented, reliable, and interested in learning how HR and People Operations support employees throughout their journey.
You like to work independently but also thrive as part of a team.
You’re curious about healthcare and clinical research and eager to learn more (experience is a plus but not required).
