Job Description and Responsibilities Bucks Auto Parts is a self-serve auto parts and vehicle recycling facility. If you have an aptitude for automobiles and/or suitable experience, a solid work ethic, a record of success, and great communication skills, we want to talk to you! We are currently seeking a Processor to work at the Buck Auto Parts - Regina location operated by EVRAZ North America. This is a physically demanding role that is performed in all weather conditions. The day-to-day work includes yard maintenance, vehicle processing, draining appropriate fluids from cars, and removing good sets of rims. Drain appropriate automobile fluids (gasoline, antifreeze, A/C etc.) to assist with the processing of vehicles Remove batteries and jacks from vehicles Remove catalytic converters from vehicles as needed Remove tires and rims from vehicles Yard maintenance, including clean up and parts disposal Vehicle inventory and record keeping Maintain a clean work area Notify appropriate personnel of any procedural abnormalities Observe and follow all safety rules and regulations Requirements High School or equivalent No experience necessary, but previous work experience in a manufacturing, production, or similar scrap yard/auto part environment will be considered an asset Loader operator experience will be considered an asset Knowledge of automotive components is a definite asset Able to meet the physical demands of the position, including standing, walking, sitting, climbing, crawling, kneeling, bending, moderate to heavy lifting, and pushing and pulling Willing and able to work in variable weather conditions, including hot, dry summer conditions and cold, harsh winter conditions Organized and able to prioritize competing priorities Strong communication skills – communicates clearly and concisely, verbally, over mobile radio devices, and in writing Polite and friendly with a customer service orientation Strong work ethic – uses time efficiently Able to work with minimal supervision/general oversight Must have reliable transportation as the work site is not accessible by city transit Our total compensation package includes amazing benefits!
