Job Description What is the opportunity? In this role you will support Portfolio Management applications for small to medium initiatives for Wealth Management Canada (WMC). Partner with IT, Operations, Vendors, and other Head Office groups to assess, research, and analyze problems that impact RBC WMC branches. Document business requirements to resolve system, process or business gaps and issues. Mandate of this role is to assist in creating an optimal Portfolio Management experience for WMC branches and to ensure proper support process is implemented and reinforced. What will you do? Developing documents for IT applications, system specifications and test plans, according to existing standards and methodologies. Eliciting the requirements needed to carry out business processes including interviews, intelligence analysis and survey assessments. Translating business needs, processes and procedures into a workable system, and articulating on specific software requirements by communicating about these requirements with technology experts and business stakeholders. Working closely with business architects and other technology staff to deliver project results while implementing risk analysis and meeting required deliverable. Prepare, analyze and prioritize issues and enhancement requests raised by the field, training, Operations and project team. Work closely with IT QA and IT support support team on issues raised and when details are required for Production Support triage Resolve conflicts/issues of med-major complexity and escalates to others as appropriate. Create and or work with communications to post on DSnet and send in National emails or branches What do you need to succeed? Must haves: Undergraduate degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience 2+ years prior securities, technology industry and/or wealth management related experience Experience within Dominion Securities branch knowledge with PIM portfolio modelling processes. Ability to work effectively in situations involving rapid change, shifting priorities, and/or simultaneous demands Problem identification, analytical and resolution skills required to support escalated issue resolution and/or oversight requirements of complex processes/programs Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills Fully proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Nice-to-have: Presentations as required for WMC branches/conferences, Head Office and training teams. Knowledge within the investment management or wealth management space. Demonstrated leadership, initiative, and ability to work effectively in teams and independently. What’s in it for you?
