Centricity Research is one of the largest clinical research networks in North America. We are a fully centralized Integrated Research Organization (IRO) specializing in conducting Phase I-IV clinical trials in over 35 therapeutic areas: inpatient and outpatient; pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device trials.
About the Role
We’re looking for a Marketing & Business Development Intern to join our team at Centricity Research. In this role, you’ll help us build and organize data that showcases our research capabilities to sponsors and CROs. You’ll also analyze customer needs, identify gaps in what we can offer, and support projects that strengthen how we position our sites in the clinical research market.
This is an unpaid internship designed to give students hands-on exposure to marketing, business development, and clinical research. In return, you’ll gain mentorship, real-world project experience, and networking opportunities that can support your future career.
What You’ll Do
Collect and organize site profile information into a standardized database for internal and external use.
Review CRO/sponsor questionnaires to identify customer needs and requirements.
Conduct gap analyses to assess where Centricity can meet requirements and where limitations exist.
Document “cannot say yes” items to help guide business development strategy.
Research patient recruitment resources to strengthen site capabilities.
Support the Marketing team in creating sponsor/CRO-facing materials.
Assist with feasibility and business development projects as needed.
You Might Be a Great Fit If You:
You’re currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Life Sciences, or a related field.
You enjoy research, organizing data, and digging into details to find insights.
You’re comfortable using Microsoft Office/Excel (bonus if you’ve worked with databases or CRMs).
You can write and communicate clearly, whether it’s for reports, presentations, or team discussions.
You like to work independently but also thrive as part of a team.
You’re curious about healthcare and clinical research and eager to learn more (experience is a plus but not required).
