Role We are looking for an Intermediate Environmental Planner to play an important role on our Environmental and Social Impact Assessment team. Responsibilities: Supporting day-to-day implementation of small to large-scale multidisciplinary environmental impact assessment, permitting, compliance and due diligence projects across multiple sectors and geographies Report writing, research and desktop studies, with potential for participation in some field programs Multidisciplinary team coordination including compilation of technical documents to support regulatory submissions Participating in consultation and engagement programs, including effectively communicating with clients, regulators, and stakeholders Supporting business development activities, such as contributing to proposals and pre-qualification submissions Assisting with project management duties including budget, scope and schedule tracking Promoting and maintaining a positive work environment through a culture of teamwork and cooperation Working @ SLR With us, there is no doubt you’ll grow your subject-matter expertise and industry knowledge. Strong technical writing skills. An understanding of municipal, provincial, and federal environmental regulatory and permitting requirements. Experience in a similar role in an environmental consulting environment is considered an asset. Team player with excellent communication and collaboration skills.
