The Position:
Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Custodian will ensures safe and clean facilities and work areas by performing routine custodial and janitorial duties, and other maintenance work as required. The incumbent will work with supervisors and other custodial staff to deliver the Eclipse Vision and Eclipse Culture.
What You’ll Be Doing:
Ensure all buildings are kept clean
Empty and clean waste-baskets and trash containers
Maintain supply inventory and stock supply closet as required
Clean, disinfect, dust and wipe equipment, furniture, fixtures as needed
Clean washroom facilities
Sweep, mop , vacuum floor surfaces as needed
Ability to work in a team environment and actively participate in group meetings safely
Work requires professional written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Work requires willingness to work a flexible schedule including weekends and or travel as required in varying timelines
What We’re Looking For:
High School Diploma or GED
Experience with industrial cleaning in a manufacturing setting
Proven ability to learn
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, cleaning equipment, scrubbers and sweepers
