Purpose: The Senior Manager/Associate Director, Business Management is a global role in Business Operations and Portfolio Support (BOPs), Global Clinical Operations (GCO) Central Services (CS). Reporting to the Head of GCO Central Services, the Senior Manager/Associate Director will be an active member of the GCO Business Management Office team, providing leadership and support to team members while driving operational excellence. This individual will manage a team, collaborate with cross-functional partners, and deliver business management processes that enable GCO’s strategic and operational priorities. The Senior Manager/Associate Director will also ensure data-driven insights are integrated into decision-making processes, employing modern tools to improve reporting, analysis, and business operations. You will be responsible for: Leading, mentoring, and supporting a high-performing team within Business Management, including assigning work, overseeing the book of work driving planning and delivery of projects, and development. Enabling successful delivery of strategic objectives across GCO through effective partner alignment and organizational change. Experience and Skills: Proven track record in clinical operations, business management, or related functions is required; preferably with 10 years of related experience. Demonstrated experience leading and supporting teams with strong people leadership skills is required. Strong insight into business with the ability to integrate complex, cross-functional information is required. Comfort working with data, with high-level experience in tools such as advanced Excel and modern platforms (e.g., Dataiku or similar) to support insights and reporting is required.
