The position duties will include, but are not limited to:
Operate stamping Presses as required - including any auxiliary equipment
Initiate press start-up and make adjustments as required after a set-up
Changeover & Set-up of stamping dies and presses
Adjust process parameters as dictated from the Die Set-up sheet
Complete required Production documentation: including Downtime, Production, Quality, 5-S, and TPM
Part Inspection per Inspection Instruction
Final visual audit inspection of all parts leaving press area for quality
Follow Containment Checklist procedures in the event of contaminated product
Production tagging/labeling to maintain inventory accuracies
Verify Production schedule using the ShopEdge system
Die Set-up sheets - report updated information to Leaders as needed
Change coiled material when needed
Write & follow-up on Work Orders as needed for repairs in assigned area
Qualifications we are looking for include, but are not limited to:
Experience in safely operating production equipment
Current Press department experience
Interpersonal skills to work effectively in a team
Good communication skills (verbal and written) in English
Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Ability to multi-task and meet production goals in a fast-paced production environment
Demonstrated ability to function both independently and with good judgment in a team environment
Able to lift up to 25lbs, stand and walk on a continuous basis
Exposure to noisy environment
