There is currently an opening for an Information Technology – Technical Analyst. This person will be required to be in close communication with production staff, procurement, engineering and IT on a daily basis to help support the various systems used in the company.
Location: 160 Consolidated Drive, Paris, ON
Dedicated Shift: 8:00am - 4:30pm, Monday - Friday
Job Duties:
Design and execute communication solutions between various business systems.
Translate business requirements into integrated solutions
Support users at multiple locations
Review document changes and identify gaps in current systems and processes; recommend and implement effective solutions by collaborating with cross-functional teams
Educate business users responsible for managing and operating business processes
Work with staff in developing and programing integrations and automation
Monitor, measure and provide feedback on process performance
Qualifications:
Positive attitude, good organizational and decision-making skills
Experience in ERP implementations
Education or equivalent experience in activities related to manufacturing, project management, production planning, logistics, or related industries
Able to manage competing demands, deal with frequent changes and effectively prioritize and execute tasks
Detail and customer service oriented
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal) as well as strong interpersonal skills
Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve
Technical competency and ability to communicate both technical and non-technical material to a diverse audience
Highly motivated and self-directed
Possess professional presentation skills
Power BI Proficiency:
Building dashboards, reports and data models
DAX - Writing formulas for calculated columns and measures
Power Query - Data transformation and cleaning
Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 / Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management considered an asset
Development with the following technologies an asset:
SQL Queries
Web Services (AJAX, REST API, JSON, XML)
Programming in X++, C# or JavaScript
Microsoft middleware (SSIS, Azure Logic Apps, Power Automate)
Experience in designing / implementing cloud solutions for manufacturing / logistics industry
