LOAN ACCOUNT ADMINISTRATOR
CALGARY, AB
Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000/yr
CMLS Financial, one of Canada’s largest Commercial lenders, is looking for a
Loan Account Administrator to join our growing team. The Loan Account
Administrator is responsible for performing specific functions of the mortgage
life cycle. These functions are required in order to maintain a performing
mortgage asset and ensure customer satisfaction.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The roles within the Loan Account Administration team include but are not
limited to processing financial and non-financial requests which includes
updating mortgage documentation, updating mortgage life insurance and file
management, as required by Mortgage Specialists including Customer Service,
Taxes, Default and Retention in the timelines required in accordance with CMLS
SLA.
The administrator is expected to be an expert or specialist in the functions
they are accountable for, including:
- Fire Insurance Administration
- Mailing communications to borrowers as required
- Incoming Mail Management
- Returned Mail Management
- Posting of Transactions
- Follow up on shortfalls on paid out loans;
- Reporting Management
- Miscellaneous / Duties as Assigned
THIS ROLE IS FOR YOU, IF YOU HAVE:
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to manage
multiple priorities while meeting deadlines
- Strong interpersonal relationship building and listening skills
- Demonstrate professionalism, judgment and integrity in daily operations
- Has proactive approach with the ability to take initiative and work
independently
- Have high attention to detail
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business an asset
- 2+ years in residential mortgage administration
- Fully competent in working with basic PC software and the suite of Microsoft
office products, mainly Excel
