Role and Responsibilities Develop cloud-based services to support critical business functions Drive and work on architecture design, execute and deliver development results Be a part of our development team and actively participate in all phases of software development lifecycle Solve complex problems by utilizing disciplined development methodology, producing scalable, flexible, efficient and supportable solutions using appropriate technologies Utilize DevOps best practices and principles to build and leverage CI/CD pipelines Provide mentorship for other software engineers while influencing design pattern and coding practices Skills and Qualifications 4+ years of industry experience in developing cloud-based services 2+ years of experience with distributed system design 2+ years of experience with Spring Framework or similar web framework Proficiency in Java, design patterns, SQL and NoSQL In-depth knowledge and experience with cloud service providers, e.g., AWS, Azure Proficiency in delivering large-scale, high-performance service-oriented solutions Experience with declarative infrastructure provisioning tools such as Terraform Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate between technical and business groups, bring forward right cloud strategy The salary range for this role is expected to be between $85,000 to $126,000 and reflects base salary only. Actual pay will be determined based on a number of factors and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, competencies, qualifications, relevant skills and experience. The total rewards package for a Regular Full-Time employee may include variable incentive, savings matching (RRSP/TFSA/NRSP), extended health and dental benefits with spending accounts, wellness and well-being benefits, development opportunities, and other employee perks.
