The Role
Accurate is on the hunt for a Product Deployment Specialist to join our team in our Edmonton office. The person we envision for this role has strong technical abilities and a strong interest—passion, even—for hardware and organization, recognizing its importance in the MSP space, serving a multitude of customers on a day-to-day basis.
You will work closely with the multiple teams to ensure Accurate is a technically well-oiled machine by responding to internal IT tickets, preparing and deploying hardware and software, and assisting in logistical tasks for both Accurate and Accurate’s clients.
Core Accountabilities
Hardware Staging, Imaging & Configuration
Prepare desktops, laptops, and peripheral devices for deployment. This includes imaging, joining to domains, patching, setting naming conventions, and testing hardware for functionality.
Break/Fix Troubleshooting & Repairs
Diagnose and resolve hardware issues for both client and internal devices. Handle warranty-based RMAs or recommend cost-effective repair or replacement options when out of warranty.
Bench Maintenance
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized bench area. Ensure tools, parts, and devices are stored properly and work areas meet ESD safety standards.
Collaboration & Communication
Coordinate with Service Coordinator, Procurement, Field Techs, and Project Teams to align timelines, update on equipment readiness, and escalate delays or shortages.
Documentation & Process Adherence
Follow all documented procedures for imaging, repairs, RMA, and inventory tracking. Contribute updates to documentation where necessary.
The Qualifications
You’ll be a good fit for this junior-level role if you have the following traits and qualifications:
· You have a minimum 1 years’ experience with hardware & software deployments
· You excel at seeing tasks through to the finish line and take pride in things being “done right”
· You’re adaptable; you have a wide range of technical skills and are able to adapt to your tasks accordingly
· You have strong problem-solving/investigative skills
· You have excellent communication skills – you can communicate with everyone from the Receptionist to the CEO.
