Nintendo of Canada Ltd. (NOCL) is looking for a new Mgr, Demand Planning & Retail Insights to join their Planning & Analytics team. The Canada Planning & Analytics team acts as thought leaders and partners who turn data into actions, driving better outcomes for Nintendo’s business and consumers. As the Mgr, Demand Planning & Retail Insights you will lead the team responsible for demand forecasts and sales analysis. Ideal candidates will excel at cross-functional collaboration, effectively communicating insights from complex data to influence key stakeholders and drive consensus on demand forecasts.
DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES
Responsible for sales forecasting, reporting and analytics for the Canadian region.
Leads, mentors and develops a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance, collaborative environment.
Presents forecasts and scenarios to leadership, highlighting risks and opportunities.
Drives improvements in forecasting processes and accuracy.
Develops and delivers actionable insights on sales performance, channel trends, consumer and industry.
Prepares executive level content for business review and retail presentations.
Works closely with Sales and Marketing to support planning, target setting and business reviews.
Serves as a key partner to Sales Planning & Analysis (SPA) and Business Analysis & Planning (BAP).
SUMMARY OF REQUIREMENTS
Minimum of five years relevant work experience.
Experience managing staff.
Experience presenting analysis/category management recommendations.
Expert in excel and experience in working with data visualization tools such as Tableau.
Ability to translate complex analytial work into meaningful insights and recommendations for business stakeholders.
Excellent project management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and to tight deadlines in a high paced environment.
Undergraduate degree or equivalent in computer science, information systems, engineering, economics, or other technical field.
The hiring range for this position is $104,800 - $157,200 CAD annual and is subject to change. The final base salary compensation will be based on factors such as skills, education, and experience.
