Responsibilities
We seek well-prepared students from top schools to expand their education in Building Information Modeling (BIM) through our internship program at Walter P Moore.
Model structural systems in Revit to support engineers and project teams
Assist with model setup, coordination, and quality control on large-scale projects
Contribute to clash detection, documentation, and digital delivery workflows
Gain exposure to automation tools such as Dynamo, Rhino, and Grasshopper to support structural design and delivery
Collaborate with engineers and BIM managers on architectural projects of all types, including stadiums, healthcare, commercial, and public assembly buildings
Participate in our in-house staff development program
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS:
Enrollment in a BIM program, Structural Engineering or Technology, or related program with exposure to BIM software
Proficiency in Revit required; familiarity with Rhino, Grasshopper, Dynamo, or Navisworks is a plus
Strong communication and collaboration skills
Enthusiasm for applying BIM to structural engineering and digital project delivery
Flexible scheduling but consistently available a minimum of 20 hours per week
