The Delivery & Warehouse Clerk is responsible in maintaining customer service standards through safe and efficient operation, while adhering to Company policies, procedures and standards. The Delivery & Warehouse Clerk core function is to ensure that client’s products are delivered in an organized, timely and safe manner. Assist in the maintenance of the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
Provide excellent customer service and maintain positive customer relations through the proper handling of customer and company equipment, questions, comments and requests.
Effectively works in a diverse team environment in a proficient and friendly manner.
Perform duties in an organized manner with accuracy and attention to detail always maintaining confidentiality of information. Co-ordinate cleaning to ensure work is done within established timelines.
Assist the Shipper/Receiver to ensure the warehouse is operating in accordance with company policies, procedures and programs.
Provide ongoing feedback to the supervisor regarding recommendations for continued improvement of delivery operations.
Establish and maintain a strong, efficient, and productive working relationship with approved professionals, business organizations, and internal/external company representatives.

Accurately and efficiently handle the delivery or receiving of merchandise, preparing items for shipment, inventory control and administrative areas not specifically referred to in this document.
Assist with the cleanliness of the building and the maintenance of company vehicles.
Be a liaison and public relations representative for the company within the communities you serve.
Adhere to all government and professional standards and regulations as they apply to the Home Health Care Industry.
Ensure daily functions are carried out in an organized and efficient manner.
Provide training to new delivery and warehouse clerks. Provides verbal and written reports to supervisor on the status of training progress as required.
Participate in the development of yearly competency performance work plan and development action plan.
Provide leadership in the areas of Health, Safety and Environment (HSE), including participate in HSE activities, ensuring employees are knowledgeable about and comply with HSE policies, procedures and legislation, assist in identifying unhealthy, unsafe situations and ensure corrective action is taken.
Minimum Qualifications:
Grade 12 education or an acceptable combination of education and experience.
Insurable drivers abstract
Basic Computer Skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
Forklift Certification
Previous customer service/deliveries/warehouse experience.
