Job Description
Complete deliveries and pick-ups in a timely manner in Cranbrook and the surrounding area. Pre and post-trip trucks and trailers. comply with ELD. Monday to Friday with some flexibility required.
Qualifications
Valid Class 1 license
Minimum 1 year of experience in commercial driving
Physically fit and able to lift and handle heavy items
Reliable and dependable with excellent time management skills
TDG, WHMIS, and Forklift experience are an asset
Must be able to provide a criminal record check, driver's abstract, and 2 work-related references
Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years
Excellent knowledge of local roads and traffic patterns in Cranbrook and surrounding areas
Strong safety consciousness and adherence to all transportation regulations
Proficient in using Electronic Logging Devices (ELDs)
Exceptional customer service skills with a professional demeanor
Ability to work flexible hours as needed
Basic mechanical knowledge for routine vehicle inspections and minor troubleshooting
