About the Job:

Design efficient DSP algorithms for coherent optical communication systems,
optimizing for both implementation complexity and performance.

Contribute to the development of end-to-end simulation platforms and perform
verification and impairment analysis.

Design and execute laboratory experiments to validate DSP algorithms and
optical system performance.

Collaborate closely with ASIC, system, and test teams to drive specifications
and ensure smooth implementation.

Perform hands-on optical component characterization and system performance
testing using instruments such as optical spectrum analyzers, vector network
analyzers, RF test equipment, and optical amplifiers.
About the ideal candidate:

PhD or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Optics, or Physics, with
experience in high-speed communication systems.

Strong background in optical systems and DSP algorithms.

Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, C++, TCL, or Julia.

Demonstrated experimental and laboratory experience in optical systems.
-
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently as
well as in a cross-disciplinary team.
