IMCO is seeking a highly motivated Managing Director to join our Private Equity team, with a focus on co-investments, funds, and secondaries transactions. Reporting to the Managing Director, Head of Private Equity, the successful candidate will play a leadership role in managing IMCO’s global Private Equity portfolio. This includes contributing to strategy development, sourcing and executing transactions, and overseeing portfolio management activities. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in evaluating and managing private equity co-invest, fund, secondaries opportunities, and will be instrumental in shaping IMCO’s approach in these areas. Key Responsibilities Lead the sourcing, evaluation, and execution of co-investment and secondaries transactions, as well as fund commitments. Drive strategic initiatives and support broader Private Equity strategy development. Oversee due diligence processes, including industry and company analysis, financial modeling, legal negotiations, and investment committee presentations. Manage and monitor a portfolio of assets, ensuring strong performance and alignment with IMCO’s objectives. Build and maintain strong relationships with GPs, advisors, and other industry participants leveraging these networks to identify and execute on new opportunities. Provide mentorship and leadership to junior team members and contribute to recruiting efforts. Represent IMCO in internal and external forums, contributing to thought leadership in the funds, secondaries and co-investment space. What You Bring University degree in Business or a related discipline; CFA, MBA, LLB or similar designation preferred. 12+ years of investment experience, with 6–8+ years focused on private equity co-investments, funds and secondaries transactions. Demonstrated success in sourcing, evaluating, and executing complex private equity deals. Strong understanding of the private equity ecosystem, including fund structures, GP relationships, secondary market and overall PE market dynamics. Proven ability to lead negotiations, manage due diligence, and oversee legal documentation. Exceptional communication, relationship management, and leadership skills.
