What you'll do...
Sales and Marketing:
Create new business opportunities using developed networks and build a sales pipeline to meet and exceed quote volume and sales goals.
Accurately and fully complete quote and application documents to be presented to clients after conducting front line underwriting and risk selection.
Manage renewal process by gathering required information, cross selling, account rounding and presenting renewals as required.
Promote the company brand and services/products offered to customers
Provide a community presence including participation in company and community events
Utilize Heartland’s industry leading technology to truly work mobile and efficiently distribute our insurance product offerings.
Policyholder Service and Relations
Provide exceptional service to client queries and recommend coverage solutions
Document management with exceptional client file documentation.
Process policy changes that are within binding authority and prepare and submit documents for policy changes that are outside authority.
Handle finance and claims inquiries for clients as needed.
Stay up to date with industry knowledge and actively participate in training initiatives in order to provide exceptional service and provide appropriate coverage solutions to policy holder
What you'll bring...
Post Secondary education in a related field
5 years experience in property & casualty insurance
Excellent organization and communication skills.
Must have an OTL agent license or the ability to obtain within 60 days of hire (assistance provided).
Familiarity with PowerBroker or other Industry Management Systems is an asset.
This position requires the successful candidate to visit clients and to have a valid driver's license. The successful candidate would have to provide proof that they have a valid driver's license upon being hired.
Prior experience working in a sales office is an asset.
