About the Opportunity
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Personal Banking Manager to join our team on a full-time basis at our Bonnyville branch.
The Personal Banking Manager is responsible for leading a dynamic team of Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor Associates. This position cultivates a highly supportive environment that empowers team members to build personal and meaningful relationships with our members. By fostering a collaborative environment, the Personal Banking Manager ensures that the team is equipped to deliver exceptional service and tailored solutions for our existing and new members, enhancing their banking experience.
Key Responsibilities and Deliverables
Support Financial Advisors and Financial Advisor Associates on all personal deposit and lending products
Provide observational, performance and developmental based coaching and mentorship to direct reports
Analyze, recommend and approve credit requests ensuring applications exhibit quality risk assessment and analysis as well as appropriate pricing
Resolve complex problems and member complaints to ensure needs of our members and credit union are met
Ensure compliance with sound business practice, legislation, regulations, policies and procedures
Lead the development and achievement of branch sales targets and support branch marketing plans
Oversee branch activities for effective member contact to develop relationships and ensure member needs are being met, as well as to identify new growth opportunities
Support AVP, Member Experience in setting short and long-term branch goals; implement plans to achieve goals
More About You
In order to qualify for this role, you will need at least 5 years of retail banking, relationship management and people leadership. Completed post-secondary education would be considered an asset.
