In this role, you'll use your superior medical judgment combined with a high level of empathy, confidence and humility to build a loyal client base and heal pets. You understand the importance of collaborating with the pet-owner and the support team to provide the best care possible to your patient. You are confident in operating various medical equipment and performing medical procedures, physical examinations, immunizations and surgery. You pride yourself on providing expert patient care! About the Hospital Vancouver Animal Wellness Hospital offers a unique mix of conventional veterinary medicine and alternative therapies like acupuncture, veterinary spinal manipulation therapy, and holistic therapies. Our veterinarians receive excellent support from a team of three veterinary technologists, three veterinary assistants and three amazingly skilled client care specialists. As our ideal Candidate, you have: A valid veterinarian license allowing practice in Canada Experience in soft tissue surgical procedures, preventative care, and offering nutritional advice. Excellent dentistry skills, as well as a strong interest in this area of practice Strong leadership skills combined with a positive team player attitude ,to enable our teams to flourish Exemplary customer service that builds loyalty and trust with your clients Dedicated to promoting team-based medicine practices Exceptional interpersonal skills in working with your colleagues, pet parents, and the community A passion for coaching and mentoring students along their DVM journey An interest in attending conferences and networking with colleagues Certification (or a demonstrated interest in furthering your education) in Acupuncture, Spinal Manipulation Therapy or Rehabilitation A love for all companion animals! Compensation: The annual salary range for this position is $95,000 to $150,000. This position may also be eligible for other variable pay programs. The annual salary range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors.
