Manufacturing, Healthcare, Telco., and Retail.
We’re looking for an experienced, visionary Senior Director of Business
Development to scale and evolve our global BD organization in a market defined
by AI-driven transformation. You’ll lead a team of 30+ across product lines and
geographies, turning our lead-generation engine into a high-performing,
data-informed function optimized for quality, velocity, and enterprise impact.
You’ll be both a strategist and a hands-on operator setting the vision while
staying deeply engaged in execution, ensuring every interaction reflects Coveo’s
differentiated AI value.
AS OUR SR DIRECTOR, BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT, YOU WILL:
- Lead and elevate a team of frontline BD managers and their BDR/SDR teams;
building a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and career growth
while delivering on weekly, monthly, and quarterly SQL and ACV targets.
- Shape and execute the global BD strategy to support both enterprise and
commercial sales motions. Partner closely with executive leadership on
go-to-market planning, territory design, and headcount investments.
- Own and optimize BD performance metrics (pipeline coverage, opportunity
conversion, account penetration). Scale impact by strengthening onboarding,
training, and productivity processes as the team grows.
- Align cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, and Enablement; ensuring BD
efforts amplify campaigns, ABM initiatives, and quota attainment while
equipping teams with world-class playbooks and coaching.
- Collaborate with Revenue Operations to enhance tools, systems, and reporting
that drive SDR efficiency.
- Build and sustain a high-performing team: recruit, develop, retain, and make
decisive changes when needed to ensure excellence and impact.
HERE’S WHAT WILL QUALIFY YOU FOR THE ROLE:
- Minimum 5 years leading Business Development or Sales teams of similar scale
and complexity, in combination with a minimum of 10 years sales experience
(BD, inside sales or field sales).
- Proven track record in optimizing and scaling teams during high-growth
phases.
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with creativity in a
metrics-driven environment.
- Ability to translate market trends and AI adoption into actionable growth
strategies.
- Committed to in-person collaboration, with the ability to work from our
Montreal office at least 3 days a week
WHAT WILL MAKE YOU STAND OUT:
