Your Opportunity at ARC’TERYX:
As the Senior Manager, People Analytics and Automation, you will help lead the
next stage of People Analytics at Arc’teryx. You’ll co-design and deliver a
multi-year analytics and automation roadmap, partner on the development of our
People Data Lake, and embed analytics into decision-making across the People &
Culture (P&C) function.
This role is both strategic and hands-on: you will establish the foundations by
building dashboards, models, and automation solutions, while also shaping the
long-term roadmap and influencing leaders across the business.
Your work will improve how we access, analyze, and act on data-scaling our
ability to deliver timely insights, streamlining key P&C processes, and enabling
our teams to focus on higher-value work. This is a unique opportunity to shape
how analytics and automation evolve within P&C, while partnering closely with
Technology and Finance to ensure alignment with enterprise architecture.
This role is based in our North Vancouver office with hybrid flexibility.
Candidates are expected to regularly support in-office collaboration.

If you were a Senior Manager, People Analytics and Automation, here are some of
the core activities you would be doing:

People Analytics Strategy and Roadmap

Co-developing and executing the long-term strategy and roadmap for People
Analytics, balancing foundational infrastructure with advanced capabilities

Defining requirements and partnering with Technology on the design, approval,
and delivery of scalable analytics infrastructure (e.g. People Data Lake) to
enable secure, high-quality analytics and automation

Embedding analytics into Core P&C processes to enable better visibility and
decision-making
-
Automation Enablement
-
Partnering with P&C leaders to identify and automate high-value processes
(e.g. compensation workflows, talent processes, analytics delivery)

Supporting adoption of predictive and prescriptive analytics that inform and
influence business outcomes

Championing P&C automation best practices while ensuring alignment with
enterprise standards and governance

Data Governance, Quality, and Security

Establishing data governance frameworks in partnership with Technology to
ensure accuracy, consistency, privacy, and compliance with regulations and
best practices

Monitoring analytics delivery to ensure insights are trusted, reliable and
actionable for leaders

Team Leadership

Leading and mentoring a team of People Data Analysts, developing skills in
analytics, data science, and automation

Embedding a culture of data-driven decision-making across P&C and the
business

Cross-Functional Partnership

Building strong relationships across P&C, Finance, Technology, Amer Sports
and senior business leaders to ensure adoption, trust, and measurable impact

Championing collaboration and knowledge-sharing across global teams (e.g.,
Amer Sports, other brands, etc.)

Designing and delivering scalable global analytics and automation solutions
that flex to regional needs, ensuring consistency while enabling local
adoption

Staying informed on emerging trends in analytics, HR automation, and AI
(including RPA)

Promoting data literacy and adoption of analytics and automation across P&C
and the business to maximize ROI and impact

Are you our next Senior Manager, People Analytics and Automation?
- You have 7+ years in data, analytics, or automation, including 3+ years in a
leadership capacity
- You have a post-secondary degree or diploma in a relevant field (e.g. Data
Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Business, HR), or equivalent
experience
- You bring HR domain expertise (compensation, talent management, workforce
planning, employee experience) to shape analytics solutions that align to
business needs.
Technical & Analytical Expertise
- You have hands-on ability to extract, transform, and analyze data using SQL,
Python/R, and Power BI (or similar)
- You have experience supervising applied statistical analysis and dashboard
design, from prototype to production-ready solutions
- You have a proven track record of embedding advanced analytics
(predictive/prescriptive models, automation) into P&C and business processes.
- You have the ability to identify, design, and implement automation
opportunities in P&C using Python, Power Automate, or RPA
- You have experience in data engineering to support cloud-based architecture
(e.g., Azure, Databricks)
Leadership & Strategic Impact
- You have experience building an analytics function from the ground up,
including establishing data governance, infrastructure requirements, and team
capabilities
- You can balance hands-on analytics with shaping long-term strategy and
adoption
- You have strong stakeholder management skills: able to translate complex data
into clear, compelling narratives that influence business strategy and
decision-making
- You build strong partnerships with P&C and business leaders to identify
opportunities where data informs workforce planning and strategy.
- You have proven ability to deliver results in complex, fast-paced
environments with a strong bias for action.
- You are skilled at navigating ambiguity and leading through change in a
global, high-growth context.

$125,000 - $172,000 a year
A reasonable estimate of the pay range is CAD$125,000 - CAD$172,000 at the time
of this posting. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such
as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training. The upper
end of the range is typically reserved for candidates with demonstrated
expertise that is above job requirements or who bring exceptional directly
transferable experience.
Please note that the range details above reflect the base pay only and does not
include our competitive bonus program and benefits that we offer.
