ABOUT THE JOB
We are looking for a very experienced Program Manager to lead complex,
cross-functional projects from inception to launch, ensuring alignment with
organizational goals and efficient execution. This position works hands on with
engineering, product, marketing and design to define and execute the product
roadmap. You are a senior leader with significant experience and expertise in
program management, often managing or mentoring junior team members and
influencing stakeholders at all levels.
The Canada-based salary range for this position is $167,500 CAD to $217,000 CAD.
We take into consideration an individual's background and experience in
determining final salary and level - therefore, base pay offered may vary
considerably depending on geographic location, job-related knowledge, skills,
and experience. The compensation package includes a wide range of medical,
dental, vision, financial, and other benefits, as well as equity.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Leading complex, cross-functional programs: Managing programs that involve
multiple teams and departments, requiring strong coordination and
communication skills.
- Ensuring alignment with organizational goals: Ensuring projects align with
overarching objectives and key results.
- Driving project execution: Managing project schedules, identifying and
mitigating risks, and ensuring timely delivery.
- Streamlining processes: Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and
effectiveness in project execution.
- Cross-functional alignment: Facilitating communication and collaboration
between different teams and stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful
project delivery.
- Risk management: Identifying and mitigating potential risks throughout the
project lifecycle.
- Mentoring and development: Guiding and mentoring more junior team members in
project management best practices.
- Influencing stakeholders: Effectively communicating project status, risks,
and recommendations to senior management and other stakeholders.
- Deep technical expertise: Having a strong understanding of the relevant
technical domain and being able to make informed decisions about technical
trade-offs.
- Problem-solving: Identifying and resolving complex technical and
organizational challenges.
- Stakeholder Communication: Translate complex data into actionable insights
and document decision making as well as thought process.
- Metric & KPI Reporting: Define, implement, and monitor key performance
indicators and metrics for growth initiatives. Establish and utilize existing
systems for tracking and reporting these metrics to ensure alignment with
business objectives.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 10+ years of experience in technical program management, with a proven track
record of successfully leading complex projects.
- Deep understanding of relevant technologies and the ability to make informed
technical decisions.
- Ability to lead, motivate, and influence teams and stakeholders.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to
communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, both
verbally and in writing.
- Ability to think strategically and make decisions that align with
organizational goals.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience.
- Superior communications skills: interpersonal, written, and presentation.
- Proven ability to understand and breakdown complex, multifaceted programs and
projects into manageable pieces, organize cross-functionally and drive
execution
- Comfortable with ambiguity and starting from "scratch"
