Summary Our Revenue Team plays an integral role with regard to Guidewire’s
current operations, our growth objectives, and the broader finance organization.
The Revenue team has an important seat at the table with the CEO, CFO and the
Sales leadership team as it relates to deals, new products, licensing, and
business model expansion. We operate in 17 countries today with plans to drive
our growth through organic initiatives as well as acquisitions and partnerships.
As our company expands the business to provide new cloud based solutions, our
revenue team will also be evolving. The Revenue Team receives a lot of exposure
with opportunities to influence the long term direction of the company including
how we license and sell our software, consulting, and cloud services. Job
Description Responsibilities Partner with cross functional teams (Deal Desk,
Legal, Sale and Sale Operation, FP&A and other Finance teams) for deal review
during contract negotiations and monthly close tasks Assist the team (Sr Analyst
and Manager) in reviewing contracts and identifying non-standard terms Review
contracts to ensure compliance with company guidelines and revenue recognition
accounting standards Assist in maintaining and updating internal documentation
for revenue policies, procedures, controls and SOX compliance Prepare SSP
schedules to support monthly reviews, quarterly audit and external reporting
processes Prepare schedules to support for close activities and audit
requirements, and external reporting processes Provide input for on-going
development and improvement on systems and operation processes Collaborate with
FP&A to analyze forecast versus actual revenue, stay on top of deferred revenue
schedules Assist with ad hoc reporting At Guidewire, we foster a culture of

productivity and outcomes. Qualifications and Skills 2+ years of revenue
accounting and operations experience with an Accounting degree required Solid
planning and prioritization skills. Demonstrates high energy with the ability to
remain flexible and change priorities in a challenging and fast-paced
environment Proven ability to work autonomously in a fast-paced and often
ambiguous work environment Proven ability to independently take ownership and
manage assigned tasks Strong oral and written communication skills and customer
service skills is required, as well as eagerness to learn and take on challenges
in a rapidly growing and dynamic environment Must be a team player and
self-starter Intermediate/advanced Excel skills required Detail oriented with
analytical and problem-solving skills Systems experience or desire to learn new
systems (Oracle ERP and Salesforce) Demonstrated ability to embrace AI and apply
it to your role as well as use data-driven insights to drive innovation,
productivity, and continuous improvement. The Canadian CAD base salary range for
this full-time position is $55,000 - $69,000 . Your base pay will depend on your
experience, skills, education, training, and location among other factors. All
full-time positions or part-time roles working 30 hours or more a week at
Guidewire are eligible for benefits that support their health and well-being
including health, dental, and vision insurance, paid time off, and a company
sponsored retirement plan. In addition, some roles may be eligible for the
annual company bonus plan, commissions, and/or long term incentive awards which
are contingent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, company
