The Quality Improvement (QI) Intern will support process optimization, documentation, and system-building efforts within the Clinical Partnerships Office (CPO). Working closely with the Academic Associate and team members, the intern will contribute to active Lean Six Sigma and change management projects designed to streamline clinical placement operations, enhance stakeholder communication, and build internal capacity. Department: Ingram School of Nursing Responsibilities: • Assist in mapping current processes using Lean tools (e.g., process maps, RACI, checklists). • Develop or refine documentation such as standard operating procedures (SOPs), training slide decks, and/or internal guides. • Support data organization, audit tasks, or background research related to student placements and partnership processes. • Participate in weekly check-ins and provide status updates on assigned task Other Qualifying Skills and/or Abilities: • Strong organizational and written communication skills. • Familiarity with Microsoft Office 365 (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams). • Interest in quality improvement, change management, and/or healthcare systems. • Ability to work independently with periodic supervision. • Willingness to learn and contribute proactively in a fast-paced environment.
