Graduate Studies at SFU provides supports to graduate students, supervisors and academic units. We oversee the life cycle of graduate students from initial inquiries to application, admission, awards and funding and convocation. We support and connect the SFU graduate community. Using an equitable approach to enhancing the graduate student journey, we honour each person's unique gifts as they pursue and share new skills and knowledge.
About the Role
This position will manage the various scholarship programs throughout the fall term, including the prestigious tri-agencies competitions and managing an awards assistant staff member.
The ideal candidate has solid working knowledge of SFU systems, customer service skills and can proactively navigate/learn to use external systems as needed.

Qualifications
Undergraduate degree and 5 years of related experience including experience in the management and administration of post-graduate student services, OR an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Excellent organizational, communication (oral and written), analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent financial administration skills
Proficiency in the use of standard office applications (e.g., Excel, , Word, PowerPoint) and standard information management systems (e.g., goSFU).
