In this position you will be responsible for executing all area corrosion programs, working in a team environment within the Transmission South area based in Savona, BC. Important Note: This role is considered safety sensitive, and as such, you may be required to undergo various background screenings. This may include but is not limited to a driving record abstract, criminal check, a company sponsored medical and drug testing (applicable to successful external candidates only). What you will do Key roles include: Integrity Digs, Piping Inspection/Recoats, Cathodic Protection. Responsible for the servicing, reliability and integrity of the Pipeline and/or Field Services Systems. Complete all required safety training. Responsible for all area Corrosion Programs. Troubleshoot and monitor condition of equipment. Demonstrate leadership and safety with Team and contractors. General pipeline duties and maintenance. Be capable of working all applicable Unifor 4960 shifts. Perform maintenance/operations activities. Ability to work collaboratively with all stakeholders. Must be willing to work away from home on a regular basis and be able to work overtime. Who you are You have the following qualifications and skills: Required: Ground Disturbance Level II (or to be obtained GD2 within first 60 days) Hold a Valid driver’s license. Strong focus on safety. Basic computer skills. Preferred: Experience with Corrosion integrity digs on hot lines. 5+ years of Ground Disturbance Level II. Line Locating Certification. AMPP Coating Inspector Level 1. NDE Inspector experience. Welder Inspector. Safe Work Permit Training. Knowledge of Enbridge SOP’s Experience with pipeline integrity excavations, inspections and coating. Working Conditions: This role may require extended stays away from home base.
