Sounds great – what’s the role in a nutshell?
Deliver exceptional hospitality and share insightful local knowledge during guide rotations. You'll ensure guests have a safe and enjoyable experience by providing essential safety information and equipment before any excursion, and by expertly guiding them through our designated areas.
Your passion is:
Manages and updates tour or excursion itinerary as required by the company.
Work together all guide team and cruise director to develop and update necessary procedures such as “wake-up call procedure, guest embarkation procedure, etc.
Follows and implements all related procedures when required by the company.
Prepares and updates the daily program of the cruise.
Conducts presentations or briefings to guests as required by the company.
Makes a morning wake-up call to guests and informs them about the excursion or tour program.
Liaises with the operations team to ensure that the arrangement of on-land or excursion logistics
is well prepared and managed.
Produce daily reports on each excursion and make a weekly Guide Report.
Describes places to guests with professional knowledge.
Provide regular updates on any change of guest information to the operations team, cruise director captain, or concerned stakeholders.
Provide directions to guests
regarding the company’s itinerary or manifest.
Be responsible for producing all related reports regarding expenses or payment during any excursion or tour program.
Additional tasks assigned by the line manager or required by the company.
Guest-centric communication and cultural sensitivity as essential qualities.

What are we looking for?
Bachelor in Tourism and Hospitality
5 years of experience as a guide in Seychelles Inner and Outer Islands
Poses a guide license
Fluent in English communication skills, French is a plus
Management skills and leadership competencieswith an ability to
work in a multicultural environment.
Problem solving, conflict resolution and decision making skills.
Being flexible and proactive.
Having good presentation skills.
Being enthusiastic and friendly.
Having good verbal communication skills.
Being able to interact with people from different backgrounds.
Being able to work with a team.
Being able to retain historical facts.
Having excellent knowledge about points of interest of specific cities
HACCP, FIFO, Customer Service.
Having time management skills.
