GFL Environmental is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Labourer to join our team in Abbotsford, BC. The successful candidate will support daily site operations in a physically demanding environment and must hold a valid Air Brake Endorsement. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys outdoor work, teamwork, and is committed to safety. Key Responsibilities: Perform general labour tasks such as site cleanup, litter control, and minor site maintenance Assist heavy equipment operators and drivers with daily tasks Move or position trucks and equipment that require an air brake endorsement Direct traffic and safely guide vehicles on-site Maintain tools and clean work areas and equipment Follow all safety procedures and site protocols Work outdoors in all weather conditions Requirements: Valid Air Brake Endorsement Valid Class 5 driver’s license (or higher) with a clean driving record Physically fit and able to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs Comfortable working in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team Experience in waste management, construction, or general labour is an asset Must have or be willing to obtain required personal protective equipment (PPE), including steel-toe boots What We Offer: Competitive hourly wage and benefits Full-time, year-round employment Opportunities for advancement and training A safety-first, team-oriented work environment #GFLTalent We thank you for your interest.
