Wood is recruiting for Protection and Controls Engineer (Intermediate) to join its Power Solutions business focusing on Transmission & Distribution projects. This opportunity is Hybrid, based in our Vancouver, BC office.

The Role
You will provide engineering and design withing a team of engineers and designers to develop protection, control, and metering system designs for electrical substations ranging from 12 kV to 500 kV from conceptual stage through construction and commissioning. Under the guidance and direction of the P&C manager and senior leadership the role includes project leadership, engineering design, engineering design reviews, and factory inspections, as well as supporting construction and commissioning activities.

Competitive salary with regular salary reviews to ensure we are rewarding at the right level in line with the market. Salary range for this position is CAD $90,000 - $125,000 per year. Final salary will be based on relevant and applicable experience, education, and the specific skill set and qualifications required for the role
