You will support client and business segment reporting (e.g. revenue, expense, balance sheet, capital), assess financial and non-financial portfolio performance, and support decision-making on commercial viability of business initiatives. How you’ll succeed Reporting & analysis - lead the monthly client / portfolio profitability reporting delivering high quality, insightful and timely analysis of financial, management performance against established benchmarks. Continuously enhance reporting frameworks and streamline models and processes to align with evolving business needs. Strategic planning & forecasting – support quarterly and annual strategic planning exercise for the Corporate Banking business and industry segments. Drive forward-looking analysis by contributing to forecast, scenario planning and identification of revenue, margin, cost drivers. Automation & process improvement – Oversee and continuously enhance business and client reporting database and dashboards. Identify and implement opportunities to increase efficiency, accuracy and automation across reporting and planning processes. Leverage advanced analytics and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, Python, etc.) to streamline workflows and support data-driven decision making. Decision support & strategic advisory – Provide analytical and financial decision-making support for key business initiatives. Own the tracking, measurement, and reporting of initiative performance to senior leadership, ensuring clear visibility of progress against strategic priorities. Support with ad-hoc analysis – Provide timely, accurate analyses and project support on ad-hoc requests. Stay current emerging tools, methodologies and best practices to elevate data analysis and business insights. Relationship management – Build and maintain strong partnership with Finance, business, and infrastructure teams. Act as a trusted advisor fostering collaboration and alignment across stakeholders. Be proactive and self-disciplined – Demonstrate proactive leadership by anticipating challenges, driving solutions, and ensuring delivery of high-quality results under tight timelines. Conceptual and organizational skills – Apply a “big picture” mindset in a complex environment, translate insights into a practical strategies and workable project plans. Who you are You can demonstrate MBA, CA, CFA or equivalent designation with 6 - 8 years of progressive experience in FP&A or related financial analysis roles with superior business planning and interpersonal skills. Understanding of lending products, Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) and capital allocation dynamics will be an asset. In addition, you have advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and financial modeling; experience with data visualization and analytical tools (Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, Python etc.) is an asset.
