Your Role
As an HR Advisor, you will play a key role in supporting the full spectrum of human resources functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, international mobility, and HR compliance. You’ll act as a trusted partner to managers and employees, ensuring a positive and engaging workplace.
Responsibilities
Manage full-cycle recruitment for hourly, skilled trades, and salaried roles.
Coordinate onboarding programs to support integration and retention.
Build and maintain positive employee relations; handle inquiries and conflicts.
Support performance management and coaching for supervisors.
Develop and implement HR policies ensuring compliance with legislation.
Identify training needs and coordinate employee development programs.
Support workplace health and safety initiatives and WSIB claims management.
Coordinate international mobility processes including work permits and relocations.
Administer benefits and support payroll coordination.
Maintain HR systems, prepare reports, and analyze HR metrics.
What You Bring
5+ years of experience in Human Resources, ideally within a manufacturing or industrial setting.
Knowledge of Ontario employment laws and HR best practices.
Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and HRIS systems.
Post-secondary education in Human Resources; CHRP designation preferred.
Assets
Experience in a startup or high-volume recruitment environment.
Knowledge of international mobility or immigration processes.
Strong analytical skills with HR reporting and data visualization tools.
