The Associate Manager, Sports Partnerships will be responsible for the day-to-day relationship management with select CTC sport partners. They will plan and lead the execution of strategic season plans and activations that leverage available partner assets, develop client relations and support business objectives. The ideal candidate is one with strong sport and marketing acumen, project management experience, strong budget management and exceptional communication skills. Own best in class partnership portfolio, lead the day-to-day relationship management with CTC sport partners to maximize ROI for CTC. Work collaboratively with the Manager, Sports Partnerships to plan and implement short and long term partnership strategies Develop and execute plans and programs, with cross- functional project teams, that meet business objectives Understand contracts, partnership terms and guidelines Provide experience and best practice-based support and guidance to teammates and stakeholders for executing initiatives. Track measurements and report progress to ensure effectiveness of all partnerships and appropriate ROI. Creative and strategic communications - writing, editing and presentation development. Manage activation budgets for all assigned partner accounts; support the tracking of annual Sport Partnerships budgets. What you bring Post-secondary education in Sports Management/Marketing/Sponsorship, Event Management. 3-5 years of proven experience in events, marketing, sponsorship and/or sports marketing. Passionate about sport from grassroots to high performance. Highly organized and detail oriented. Ability to balance multiple priorities, prioritize and deliver programs and tactics on time and on budget in an ambiguous, fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment. Comfortable working in a cross-functional team across multiple banners – in-person and remotely. Collaborative team player who has experience building relationships across various groups and stakeholders. Self-starter and ability to influence without authority. Strong computer skills, particularly in MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills. Bilingual (FR/EN) an asset, but not required Ability to work within a matrix organization.
