Time Type: Regular Temporary (Fixed Term) Job Description : POSITION SUMMARY: In accordance with established KPI’s, policies and procedures, this position is accountable for the day to day leadership and management of the retail sales leadership team across the Canadian region. The channel comprises inline storefronts/kiosks, pop ups, retail events, VAR partnerships & revenue share/MDU programs. Ensure the optimal level of sales results and quality service is provided to all Cogeco customers and includes ensuring representatives are promoting Cogeco’s full range of services and maximizing sales opportunities while positioning themselves to achieve sales targets and protecting the brand. It further encompasses achieving and reporting on the revenue and sales targets for their respective teams on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis. The candidate must possess a strong inclination toward employee engagement and a passion to support individual development, fostering a team spirit and combined drive to succeed. Using strong coaching and performance management techniques the incumbent will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate sales strategies exist to hit territory revenue objectives and manage customers on a proper life cycle management plan. As part of our ongoing transformation and growth the incumbent will be responsible for managing the refresh of our existing store footprint while executing a vision of expanding into new areas, ensuring we are on brand and servicing our local communities. OVERALL KEY RESPONSIBILITIES Drives incremental revenue and protects our existing base of customers understanding and delivering on regional/channel nuances across the Canadian market through Retail Pop Ups, Events, Partner Programs & Storefronts. Provides daily management, coaching, and career development to Channel Leads & Retail Supervisors Builds a hybrid working environment to maximize agent occupancy and effectiveness including the addition of outbound calling campaigns, sales event support with our Corporate Stores Nurtures a best-in-class service environment by ensuring local ownership of resolutions across all retail and partnership programs in alignment with brand standards. Oversees storefront design, signage, merchandising, and brand consistency to create a seamless customer experience while driving foot traffic and supporting retail expansion. Researches initiatives to drive foot traffic, supports new merchandising tactics and store refreshes, and executes the vision for store and depot expansion. Liaises with Agile squads and Centers of Excellence to drive business growth, gather input, provide feedback, and address challenges proactively with the courage to act. Works closely with marketing to develop support materials, research new promotional ideas, test marketing strategies, and align advertising plans with budget and sales objectives. Oversees performance management of internal teams delivering onsite & virtual coaching, and leading channel meetings to improve sales results and customer satisfaction. Enhance employee engagement by improving eNPS, increasing promoters with a strong employee focus. Lead change management through positive communication, developing change champions, and optimizing channel redirection for efficiency and growth. Procures and onboards new retail partners acting as a senior liaison between Cogeco and vendors, fostering strategic partnerships, promoting offerings, and supporting retail and mall partner growth. Administers vendor performance reports and provides insights for rewards, recognition, or performance management while ensuring compliance with company policies and standards. Tracks and analyzes financial & sales performance, ensuring cost-effective strategies in sales, vendor partnerships, and business operations. Regularly conducts internal sales and equipment audits to optimize spending and maximize budget management for the Canadian region. Participates in budget development, maintains expenses, and oversees store facility costs related to operations while ensuring key performance indicators are met or exceeded. Reduces customer acquisition costs while supporting channel growth within the Revenue Share and MDU programs. Continuously updates business processes to improve efficiency, increase productivity, and manage costs effectively. As a representative of Cogeco’s management team, handles customer and employee matters confidentially; escalates issues in a timely manner through collaboration and effective communication skills. ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS ACADEMIC TRAINING College diploma/ University degree in Business/Management/Merchandising or the equivalent experience. People leader with 5-10 years experience leading front line and second level sales and supervisory teams Demonstrated analytical abilities with attention to details and initiatives.
