We are currently looking to add Journeyman Small Engine Mechanic/Outdoor Power Equipment Technician to our Grande Prairie Head Office shop.
As the Small Engine Mechanic/Outdoor Power Equipment Technician, you are responsible for:
Complete small engine work orders accurately and timely
Complete equipment troubleshooting and diagnostic repairs
Perform service work as required (cleaning, lubricating, etc.)
Test repaired equipment for proper performance
Monitor parts usage and report on any material issues
Assist in ordering replacement equipment, parts, and supplies
Document work performed in detailed, readable, and accurate manner per Rentco procedures
You have the following education, training, and skills:
Journeyman Small Engine Mechanic/Outdoor Power Equipment Technician certification
Class 5 drivers’ licence with a clean abstract and the ability to travel to off-site locations
Experience working on small tampers, generators, and water pumps
Ability to be flexible and to work well under pressure
Ability to lift objects over 50 lbs.
Ability to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions while wearing proper PPE
